Fan Goch was dropped off at Ogmore-by-Sea in July ready for its first adventure with a customer. Fan Goch is used to adventure though as the little tinker has been away with me for a month long trip during the summer of 2019 through France and Spain – but that’s for another post! Suffice to say, young Goch is used to a little roaming around but not since being newly converted by our partner company Arrow Campervans.
Fan Goch's owner for the getaway decided to ramble around a few different locations, beginning in Southerndown at the new(ish) campsite at the Three Golden Cups.
From there they ambled down to Pembrokeshire for a bit of surfing at Freshwater East using our amazing beginner adult surfboards. A little precipitation didn't dampen this adventurer's spirits because the drive-away inflatable single awning he had hired provided plenty of space to chill through the evening with a bottle of vino and an evening meal cooked on Fan Goch's gas hobs.
Its final destination on this first adventure was at Three Cliffs in the beautiful Gower where a little more surfing was enjoyed, and the weather improved considerably.
Cheers All,
Paul and the team at Campervan Getaways
